- Head to Marsiling MRT – Go the bus stop in front of Marsiling Station.

There are 2 straight routes which connect Singapore to Johor Bahru. Drive through any of them and you’ll be arriving at Johor Bahru.

Note:

- Otherwise, buy toll card with a fixed amount of RM30 at any toll booths available. Use this card for Touch-n-Go system.
- For foreign registered cars, VEP fee of S$35 is imposed per day.
- For foreign registered motorcycles, VEP fee of S$4 is imposed per day.
- VEP fee applies only from 2am – 5pm, starting from Monday to Friday. Other time is free of charge.
- Petrol tank should not be less than ¾ full while leaving Singapore. If less than ¾, you’ll face $500 fine.
- Bring your passport. Make sure that all the passports of passengers in your car get stamped.
5. Transport To JB From Singapore By Ferry
If you’re going to Desaru, then you can take ferry service from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

- 2 ferries will run at the same time during peak periods.
Route 2: Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal To Tanjung Pengelih Ferry Terminal
Ferry ride 35 minutes + around 1 hour land transport to Desaru Coast.
Things To Note:
- This route is not recommended as there are no shuttle bus to take you from ferry terminal to Desaru Coast. You need to arrange the land transport yourself.
- Only recommend for those working in Pengerang or visiting Desaru Alpacas Farm, Desaru Mini Zoo.
Route 3: Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal To Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal
This route not yet in operation.
6. Transport To JB From Singapore By Flight
There is NO Flight along this route If you tried Googling flights from Changi Airport to Senai Airport.
The other alternative is to fly to KL from Singapore, then from KL to Johor Bahru. From Senai Airport, you can take a grab to JB. Not recommended!
