What To Do In Rawa Island (No.1 To 5 Are Popular)

You are going for an idyllic island getaway in Pulau Rawa soon, but are you wondering what you can do around the small island?

But wait, even though small, Pulau Rawa is a peaceful private island resort with no crowds except for the resort guests. It’s also clean and comfortable enough for a enjoyable holiday.

To give you some ideas, I have a list of fun activities for a 3D2N Pulau Rawa stay (from most preferred to least preferred), with some photos that I have taken during my trip.

1. Island Hopping – Private Chartered

 

The absolute must-do Pulau Rawa activities is chartering a boat to visit other islands like Harimau Island, Mensirip Island, Hujung Island and more.

2. Snorkeling & Swimming On Rawa Beach

 

 

Rawa Island is teeming with coral reefs and has crystal clear waters, so I did swim and snorkel to my heart’s content!

Highlights:

• Beautiful house reefs near the shore for snorkelling
• Spot unique fishes like blue spotted stingray, wrasse and triggerfish
• You may get lucky and spot blacktip reef sharks

 

 

3. Kayaking Cycle One Round Of Rawa Island

 

Among the fun things to do in Rawa Island is getting on a kayak to enjoy the azure blue waters.

• Leisurely kayak around the island (40 minutes)
• Calm and gentle seas (doable for beginners)
• Access to all the beaches along the island

 

4. Take Photos Around The Island

 

I enjoyed taking plenty of gorgeous photos around the resort as one of my Pulau Rawa activities.

6. Jogging & Island Walk 

 

Get some exercise in by doing light jogs and brisk-walking around the island, while enjoying the scenery.
