Taxi Transport From Singapore to Mersing Jetty (By Car)
Looking for a taxi from Singapore to Mersing Jetty, you are looking for the perfect transport option.
As I have also written the post of “How to go to the Mersing Jetty from Singapore”.
As Mersing is not near to the JB area, it takes 2 hours and 130km from JB town. So don’t expect the taxi fare will be cheap.
If you are located in Singapore, you have a concern about the traffic jam on the border during the weekend of peak season.
So the best way would be from singapore to mersing jetty by car So it depends of you have your own car, or you would like to hire a private car to pickup you from door step.
So that you could have a comfortable journey without worry about rushing for the ferry, and not jam at the custom checkpoint.
1. Private Car / MPV Taxi (Best Option)
The most ideal way to get from Singapore to Mersing Jetty is by private car/ taxi, especially if you are traveling as a family of 4 or more.
In fact, 95% of families will take this mode of transport as it is more convenient!
It is also more cost-effective and saves time as a whole as the private car will handle all your travels the moment it picks you up from your doorstep at your preferred time!
Rather than feeling tired and annoyed with the traffic congestion (you can spend 2 to 3 hours at the customs during peak season), you can rest in the private car as well!
Think about it, doing it on your own is going to be more troublesome as you will have to lug around your family’s bags and leave your car for hours to queue at the checkpoint.
It’s not fun feeling stressed out before you reach your holiday destination!
Here are several reasons to opt for SGMYTAXI Private Taxi:
- Suitable for families with children, elderly, and group trips
- Enjoy door-to-door taxi service straight to Mersing Jetty from Singapore
- Affordable and reasonable pricing rates
- Convenient booking via WhatsApp
- Stay comfortable during immigration clearance at both Singapore and Malaysia checkpoints, saving your energy
- Experienced and friendly drivers pick you up from any Singapore location in a spacious, comfortable 7 to 10 seater MPV car
- Experience a direct private transfer with no ride-sharing involved
- Can request to depart early, especially during long weekends and public holidays, to avoid traffic jam at SG-MY border
2. Sedan Taxi / Local Taxi
What if you are in a rush, looking for last-minute options, or just tight on cash?
Then my solution for you is to take a local metered taxi at Ban-San Singapore Johor Taxi Stand in Bugis Queen Street.
It costs around SGD 60 per car if you are travelling from Bugis to JB. If you are sharing with passengers or traveling in a group, you can split your fare so it will be cheaper!
But a word of warning, here are some things to take note of before taking a Singapore taxi:
- Taxis will not pick up at your preferred location: authorized cross-border taxis are only available at Ban-San taxi stand
- Taxis’ aim is to get you from point A to point B
- Some taxi drivers may not want to drive during peak periods as they don’t want to deal with the congestion either!
All in all, you may save some money on this trip but is sacrificing your flexibility and convenience worth it?
