1. Overview Bus To Legoland Malaysia
Here is a step-by-step guide to go from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia:
- Purchase your ticket online based on your preferred coach pickup location in Singapore
- If you are planning to take the public bus, on the day of the trip, choose one of the public buses we’ve recommended and board the bus.
- Once you’ve arrived at Tuas Checkpoint, you will need to leave the bus and head towards the immigration counter.
- Next, walk to the bus stop and take the bus to JB Second Link Checkpoint.
- Leave the bus again with your belongings and have the immigration counter scan your luggage.
- When you’ve cleared immigration, go to the bus stop and take the next bus to Legoland Malaysia
CIQ Second Link and JB Second Link is the second and newer checkpoint for the Johor-Singapore border. It is also known as “Second Link” or “Tuas”.
JB Second Link’s actual building name is called “Sultan Abu Bakar”. For easier reference, I will use the terms Tuas Checkpoint and JB Second Link CIQ instead.
2. Fill Up Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) Before Entering Malaysia
Non-Malaysians take note: you will need to present your arrival card before entering Malaysia!
Luckily for Singaporeans, you are exempted from this!

3. What Is The Travel Duration Of Taking A Bus?
The travel duration from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia is mainly dependent on the traffic conditions. Most of the time, it takes me 2 hours in the evening or weekend.
Generally, it can take:
- 1 hour (during off peak season like weekdays afternoon) or up to,
- 4 hours (during peak season such as the eve of a public holiday or weekend).
If you are taking the public bus, you will need an additional buffer time of 30 – 45 minutes as you will need to transit to a different bus, such as CW7L; at the Second Link Checkpoint!

5. Bus From Singapore To Legoland Malaysia (Not Direct)
There are no direct public buses to Legoland Malaysia.
Pick any bus heading towards Tuas Checkpoint to reach JB Second Link CIQ. At the Second Link checkpoint, take the connecting bus CW7L to Legoland Malaysia.
Do note that there is some waiting time between transits at Second Link checkpoint, so do allocate at least 30 minutes buffer time!

After clearing the immigration counter at JB CIQ Second Link, take the connecting bus CW7L to Medini Mall Legoland Malaysia.
Step 2: Board Connecting Bus, CW7L From CIQ Second Link To Legoland Malaysia
The CW7L bus arrives at Mall of Medini which is a 5-minute-walk to Legoland Malaysia through the mall.
Do note that you will need to pay attention to where the bus stop is and press the bell before you reach your destination as the bus does not stop at every station.
Alternatively, you can inform the bus driver ahead of time to let you know once you’ve reached the mall.

In all honesty, I do not recommend this bus route as it is troublesome especially when you are bringing kids along.
You end up wasting half a day going through immigration, exhausted. What’s the point of saving on transport fare if you end up spending on an expensive Legoland Theme Park ticket and Legoland hotel room?
