5 Rawa Island Resort Accommodation & Room Review (Photos)
If this is your first time at Rawa Island Resort, you must be wondering what the view is like from each room.
You might also be wondering whether it’s better to choose a room on the beach or above the sea.
In this review, you will be learning how the 5 different types of rooms at Rawa Island Resort compare.
By sharing details such as exact room location and photos, it’ll give you a better understanding on what each room has to offer.
1. Overview of Rooms Types
Here’s a map of each room at Rawa Island Resort.
For each subheading below, I have noted the room numbers next to the type of accommodation, so that you can easily pinpoint it on the map above.
Now that you’ve seen the map, let’s jump right into the review.
During my 3D2N Rawa Trip stay, I booked 3 rooms—Beachfront Chalet, Waterfront Bungalow, and Frangipani Villa.
I took plenty of photos, which I’ll be showing you. And while we did not stay at Beachview Chalet and Hillside Deluxe, I’ll be sharing some exterior shots of those rooms as well.

2. Beachfront Chalet (27-38)
This is the room I stayed in during my holiday.
It’s situated right on the beach, so it’s no surprise you can hear the relaxing sound of sea waves crashing here.
And it’s beachfront location is extremely convenient, allowing my daughter to play on the beach whenever she liked. This was the primary reason why I picked this room.
One downside is that since the chalet is on ground level, it’s swarming with mosquitoes! Still, it’s possible to sit and chill on the balcony if you have a very effective mosquito repellent.

3. BeachView Chalet (59-62)
Here is an exterior view of the Beachview Chalet.
Unlike the Beachfront Chalet, this is not located on the beach. However, you’ll still get a sea and beach view from the balcony.
So keep this in mind and don’t confuse the two accommodations when you’re booking the room.

4. WaterFront Bungalow (63-67 & 81-84)
Each Waterfront Bungalow is located above the seawater.
Judging from the photos and how viral they go on social media, I think these rooms could be Rawa Island Resort’s signature.
I mean, look at the view! It’s just a beautiful sight of pristine green and blue water.

5. Frangipani Villas (68-80)
Now, this is the most luxurious type of room you can get at Rawa Island Resort.
Again, it’s not located on the beach. But it’s 3 storeys, and the balcony offers a seaview.
If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day vacation, I think this room could be it. You can even buy decorations to fit the occasion.
While Frangipani Villa lacks a direct sea or beach view, it still is the better option compared to
the Beachfront and Waterfront Rooms.
6. Hillside Deluxe (02-58A)
If you’re on a group or company trip, this would be the most affordable choice.
Located along the sloping hillside, each building has 2-3 floors. Facilities here are complimentary.
But if you’re looking for a beach or sea view, you won’t find it here. Expect lush green scenery instead—it’s the reason why Hillside Deluxe is more affordable than the rest.
In my opinion, the view doesn’t matter since I doubt you’ll be spending so much time in the room anyway. Most of you will be out on the actual beach or sea.
