Searching for a homestay near Legoland Malaysia?
Came across D’Pristine Medini?
Well, because I was curious about D’Pristine Medini myself, I decided to stay there during my Legoland trip and see if it was up to par.
I toured the building and let me tell you…I was quite disappointed in this homestay.

Which is a real shame, because it’s near, super affordable, and the rooms are great. And yet, it still fell short of what you’d want in a homestay.

1. Overview: D’Pristine Medini
D’Pristine Medini will always be lower priced compared to Afiniti Residences. And when you get there, you’ll see why.

The building development is poor and looks basically half-abandoned. Furthermore, construction of the place doesn’t even seem complete!

In all honesty, I was shocked when I arrived.
On Airbnb, there were photos of the room, not of the building itself. If I had known what it looked like, I wouldn’t have booked this place.
The entire surrounding atmosphere makes you feel unsafe, which is a huge red flag when you’ve got kids with you.

And while it’s only a 5-minute walk from Mall of Medini, there is no proper walkway.
The room itself was perfectly fine, but unfortunately not good enough to make up for the building’s overall shortcomings.
2. D’Pristine Medini Check-In Procedures
Step 1: Go to D’Pristine main lobby and look for mailbox.
Step 2: Get your room key and parking access card in the mailbox.

Step 3: Go to your room. That’s it.
3. D’Pristine Medini Room Review

This is a lakeview room. For the price of this place, you can’t expect too much.
4. Direct to Medini Mall & Legoland Theme Park
As I mentioned earlier, I just didn’t feel safe walking around with my family.
So I decided to drive to the theme park instead and park at Legoland Hotel.

5. Surrounding View (Day & Night)
6. Parking At Level 10
The architect of this building did a terrible job because just look at how narrow the pathway is! Many cars got scratched going up here.

Make sure you’re driving a small car. To get to the car park, you will have to drive in circles up 10 LEVELS. If that isn’t a nightmare, I don’t know what is.
7. Facilities
There are barely any play ground or swimming pool facilities because they all seem abandoned and unfinished. You might as well spend your time at Legoland Malaysia.
8. Conclusion

In short, I really do not recommend this homestay at D’Pristine Medini. Most visitors going to Legoland Malaysia are families.
You should be choosing a more comfortable accommodation.
