Afiniti Residences Homestay 3 Mins Walk To Legoland Malaysia

As I’ve mentioned in another Legoland Malaysia travel guide, I won’t usually recommend tourists to stay at a homestay unless they are on a tight budget.

I still firmly believe that Legoland Malaysia Hotel is always the best choice.

However, if you want a homestay nearby Legoland Malaysia, go for Afiniti Residences.

It’s located only 3 minutes away from Legoland Malaysia, which means your room gets treated to a “Legoland view”.

But if you’re looking to know more about Afiniti Residences, look no further!

Recently, I spent 2 days and 1 night here. In this review, I’ll dive into my experiences and thoughts, which will help you decide if Afiniti Residences is worth the stay or not.

1. Overview: Afiniti Residence

Most homestays can be booked in advance through Airbnb.

All you have to do is enter your travel dates and “Legoland Malaysia” as your destination.

In the results page, you’ll see many available units called “Afiniti” with the clickbaity title of 3-minute walk.

It’s not clickbait as Afiniti Residences really is a 3-minute walk from Legoland Malaysia.

In fact, it is located right beside Mall of Medini, which easily makes this the best homestay in the area.

 

 

2. Check In Procedures 

 

In Malaysia, the usual check-in time is 3:00pm. You can try to request for an earlier check-in time, which is subject to availability and the host’s discretion.

Once you have made your booking, the host will send you instructions on how to get the room key as well as any parking directions.

This is the lobby at Afiniti Residences.

 

You can request your room key from the security officer.

Always refer to your check-in instructions. It should explain how you can get the room’s smart lock password and access card.

 

 

3. Parking Basement

 

At Afiniti Residences, the basement parking is actually shared with Somerset Medini Iskandar Puteri.

Personally, I’m not in favour of their parking. The basement is quite dark and the directions to the parking bay for Afiniti Residences is quite confusing.

 

 

4. Walk To Legoland Theme Park 

 

Here is how you get from Afiniti Residences to Mall of Medini and Legoland Theme Park.

Heading to the Medini Mall direction and from the convenient store.

 

The to the opposite of the Afiniti Residence.

 

You will see an escalator to the Medini Mall, just follow the direction.

turn left side to the Legoland Malaysia Sealife building.

5. Surrounding View (Day & Night) 

 

Here are some snapshots of the surrounding area so you can get an idea of what it looks like at night and in the day.

 

6. Nearby Cafe Or Convenient Store

 

The nearest cafes and restaurants are located at Medini Mall.

There you will see familiar names such as Burger King, The Chicken Rice Shop, Subway, Starbucks, as well as convenient stores, coffee shops, and a grocery store.

 

 

But if you need to just pop down and grab some essentials, there is a convenience store located on the ground floor of Afiniti Residences.

 

 

7. Playground & Swimming Pool 

 

 

Not many people use the playground or swimming pool as they’re all spending their time at Legoland instead!

So yes, Afiniti Residences is the best homestay nearby Legoland Malaysia.
