Step 2: Ferry To Tioman Island From Tanjung Gemok (Teluk Gading Jetty) Or Mersing Jetty
At Mersing Jetty or Tanjung Gemok (Teluk Gading Jetty), you can board the Bluewater Express or Cataferry ferry service.
The crossing takes 1.5 hours to 2 hours.

1.2 Bus To Tioman Island From Singapore
Buses are a very affordable means to get to the ferry jetties.
Just be aware that you have to alight from the bus (and get on again) for immigration clearance between Singapore and Johor.
Step 1: Bus To Mersing Jetty Or Tanjung Gemok Jetty (Teluk Gading Jetty) From Singapore
There are numerous bus services from Singapore to Tioman Island. You can either choose to leave before dawn or take an overnight bus for the 3 to 4 hour-long journey.
Most of the buses stop at Mersing Jetty or Mersing Bus Terminal which is a short walk from Mersing Jetty.

So you may have to take a ~20-minute taxi up to Tanjung Gemok Jetty (Teluk Gading Jetty) from Mersing if that is your chosen departure point.

Tips:
- Pack a jacket, snacks and some water for the ride!
- Make sure you keep your tickets and passport with you.
Step 2: Ferry To Tioman Island From Tanjung Gemok (Teluk Gading Jetty) Or Mersing Jetty

- Tekek To Juara – 2 to 3 hours one-way of moderate difficulty. Possible to detour to Ali’s Waterfall.
